The Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa [OSIEA] supports and promotes public participation in democratic governance, the rule of law, and the respect for human rights in Kenya by awarding grants, developing programs, and bringing together diverse civil society leaders and groups.
Pact Kenya builds the capacity of local people, organisations, networks and coalitions working in one or more of 4 strategic platforms that Pact Kenya believes are crucial to reducing poverty and to attaining sustainable development in Kenya. These platforms are in Democracy and Governance, Conflict and Peace, Environment and Natural Resource Management, and in Women’s Empowerment.
ActionAid Kenya works with poor communities and local partners and in partnership with Government, Intergovernmental agencies, development agencies, social movements and networks to strengthen their capacity to advocate for International and National policies that promote the rights of poor and excluded people to a world without poverty.
